Loving Glee, Peace Out 90210
This show continues to roll. First off my usual gripe was the amount of musical numbers and it was kept to 2 this episode. Both of them were AWESOME as well. The choreographer(s) should be commended for their creativity. Last week’s country number and this week’s number with the guys (I thought the girls number was sang better but was lacking from the choreography perspective) were fantastic. As usual the writing/dialogue was awesome. “I have to win championships so I can get more endorsements so I can buy my hovercraft” had me in tears. It’s just so fucking random. I really enjoyed Terri subbing as the school nurse but I thought the setup was weak as hell. I know it’s TV but you can’t just go “oh you’re hired as a nurse.” The one true upside was that the end of the episode had a payoff that exposed EXACTLY why you can’t just sub in. I’m curious to see how they’re going to pay off Will/Emma. They’re slow burning it really well. I assume it’ll have the first false start around November sweeps. If you have to go the entire season before a payoff I don’t know how much the viewers are going to care.
As I figured last week, this was the end of my 90210 experiment. I’m surprised it lasted this long to be honest. The show just isn’t good enough to be watched on the regular and now sadly it’s not bad enough to be laughed at. It’s a shame because now I’ve got nothing to watch on a Tuesday. On the upside, less TV per week isn’t such a bad thing.
I’m hoping to hear from Bell Mobility pretty soon. It’s been a week since I fucked over my phone and sent it for repair. I’m hoping it isn’t going to be much longer. I’ve gotten used to my Double Flip again. I like using it more for texting but the Omnia did well… everything else. I’m not looking forward to having to put in all my contacts again either. I’m praying that they don’t wipe my storage card as my back up on was it. Before I get the phone back I’ll be going through a major purging of my MSN list. Basically if I don’t have a reason (any small reason whatsoever) to talk/text you I’ll be dropping you from my MSN. That way my forced import of contacts (FUCK YOU MICROSOFT!) will be easier to deal with. On a related note, with Bell moving towards the HSPA network (FINALLY!) I can look into getting ANOTHER PHONE! Yes… I’m going to buy my 4th phone in 3 years. The really sick part is I’m going to buy another Omnia, it’ll just be the Omnia HD. Lord knows I just HAVE TO have a cell phone that can play streaming video in 480p. I’m such a nerd.
